The other night for dinner, I wanted to spice up some broccoli. Now and then I like something a little new. So instead of just another cheese sauce melted on some broccoli, I made spicy mayo dressing to drizzle over it after steaming. The hubby was impressed.
The Sriracha chili sauce gives it some heat, but the mayo and lemon juice tone down the bite. The creamy texture of the sauce works well with the crunch of the broccoli. Since we like a little spice, I'll do this one again. (Not for mild taste buds, but can be adjusted.)

Broccoli with Spicy Mayo
2 cups frozen broccoli
1/2 tsp. sesame oil
1/4 cup mayo
1-1/2 tsp. Sriracha
1-1/2 tsp. lemon juice
sprinkle of kosher salt

Place broccoli in steamer over hot water. Microwave 3 minutes on high, rotate one quarter turn and cook for another 3 minutes. Let set until ready to use.
In small bowl, mix mayo, Srirahca, lemon juice and salt. Stir or whisk until well blended. Refrigerate.

When ready to serve, put broccoli in large serving bowl and  sprinkle sesame oil over top. Stir gently to coat. Drizzle sauce over broccoli and return to microwave until as warm as needed, probably just a minute or two (depending on how long you've cooked it in advance.) Serves 2-3. Recipe easily doubled.

Note - to use 1 head of fresh broccoli - cut florets, peel stems and double all remaining ingredients.
