Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos

      It's great to have friends that share their recipes with me. Last weekend the girls came over for cards and one of them brought this recipe from their hubby. It's no secret that I like a little spice and heat, so with bacon holding all the good stuff together, this is a perfect way to have poppers inside when it's too nasty to fire up the grill outside.

Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos

1-8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
12 fresh jalapeno peppers, halved lengthwise and seeded
1 pkg. bacon

Preheat oven to 425.

Spread cream cheese into jalapeno pepper halves and then wrap each with a piece of bacon. While wrapping, tuck each piece of bacon under the jalapeno to keep it from unraveling.

Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. Watch closely.

When the bacon is sizzling and the cream cheese is melted, remove from oven and enjoy.
