Bacon Wrapped Asparagus

      Everything taste better with bacon, right? Well asparagus sure does. Now that asparagus is in season locally, it's time to try this simple tasty veggies. Wrap a couple of spears in a slice of bacon and roast for 10 minutes to an easy side dish for a summer meal.

Bacon Wrapped Asparagus
(per serving)
Asparagus ready for oven
2 spears asparagus, washed and ends trimmed
1 slice bacon
kosher salt
cracked black pepper

Preheat oven to 350.

Wrap 2 spears of asparagus with one slice of bacon, tucking ends under itself so it won't unroll. Place on sprayed cookie or baking dish.

Bake for 10 minutes until bacon just starts to crisp. Serves 1.
