Blue Cheese Steak Butter

  Hubby and I are fans of blue cheese. After seeing the TV cooks use blue cheese to top their steaks, we decided to give it a try. It's much mellower than you would expect and compliments the meat very well. It's also very easy to do with a few simple ingredients.


Blue Cheese Steak Butter
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles
2 tsp. chives or parsley


Mix all ingredients, stirring well to combine. Set aside until steaks are done. Spread over hot steaks and then add a sprinkle of the blue cheese crumbles on top for a little extra flavor. Enough for 4 steaks.
(Leftovers butter can be used on baked potatoes.)
