Rum Balls

Friends Favorite Recipe Swap

These sweet little delights went to an office party. Wow!

Rum Balls
In large bowl combine:

1-3/4 cup fine vanilla wafer crumbs

1 cup finely chopped pecans

1 cup confectioners’ sugar

1/8 tsp. salt

2 T. cocoa

In small bowl combine:

1/3 c. rum or 1 tsp. rum extract and water

1 T. instant tea

2 T. dark corn syrup

Slowly stir rum mixture into crumb mixture. Form into one-inch balls and roll in confectioners’ sugar. Store in tightly covered metal container overnight to blend flavors.
