Sometimes the best recipes are right under your nose - or on the back of the box. In this case, I was inspired by a recipe right on the back of the chocolate chip package. These peanut butter bars were so easy to make and use just a few ingredients that are common baking items.
They look almost like a brownie, but are more firm and less crumbly. Even with melted chocolate on top, this snack isn't overly sweet and travels well in your hand. These will make a perfect "game day" dessert.
