Seven Cracker Snack Mix
recipe courtesy of Jim and Susan Feutz
If you're looking for a new snack for watching the basketball games or to take with you tailgating, or even for movie night, this is easy, tasty and makes a big batch. Our local vet and his wife brought this to a fundraiser dinner and were nice enough to share. They take this to the football games, but it comes in handy any time you need a snack for a crowd.
7 different boxes of crackers
(Bugles, oyster crackers, pretzels, nuts, rye crisps, or other "mini" crackers etc.)
Mix together -
1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch dressing, dry
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. dill weed
1 cup vegetable oil
Preparation -
Mix crackers together and put in one 12" x 17" pan or two large pans.
Pour oil mixture over crackers and stir together.
Bake at 200 degrees for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
This keeps for a long time and can also be frozen.
