Brown Gravy

Friends Favorite Recipe Swap

When you don't have any powdered mixes or canned gravy this works great.

Brown Gravy recipe

Ingredients

All-Purpose Gravy

1 chicken bouillon cube
1 cup water
1 T. corn starch
1 tsp. water
1/2 tsp. kitchen Bouquet or to taste
 

Put bouillon cube in the 1 cup of water and heat in microwave on high till the cube is dissolved. 1-1/2 to 2 minutes.

Meanwhile dissolve corn starch in the teaspoon of water. Mix bouillon water and corn starch mixture together and cook on high till thickened, add the Kitchen Bouquet  mix good and serve over mashed potatoes or any way you use brown gravy.
