Beef Onion Wraps

This year for Thanksgiving we tried an old favorite with a new twist - green onions wrapped with thinly sliced beef and held together with cream cheese. Usually I use the cheap thin sliced beef lunchmeat, but this year, my hubby splurged and bought pastrami. Oh yeah! How good does that sound? Yes, it was -  and so simple.

Beef Onion Wraps
2 pkg. green onions
1-8 oz. pkg. chive and onion cream cheese spread
1/2 lb. thin sliced pastrami

Wash and trim onions slightly longer than meat, about 5 inches. Lay slice of pastrami flat and spread with cream cheese. Put onion on end of meat and roll up (burrito style), letting cream cheese seal the meat. Chill until ready to serve.
