One of my favorite little appetizers is Bacon Crab Wraps. This doesn't take much time, has only a few ingredients and is an easy do ahead dish. Once cooked, they reheat well, too. The Cajun marinade gives this appetizer a real nice kick.
Cajun Bacon Crab Wraps
1/2 pkg. imitation crab sticks
1/2 Lb. bacon (not microwaveable)
1/4 bottle A-1 Cajun marinade
cracked black pepper
Cut crab sticks in 1-1/2 inch pieces. Cut bacon into about 2 inch strips and wrap around crab meat. Secure with toothpick.
Place crab wraps in a sprayed baking dish. Cover with marinade, sprinkle with pepper and refrigerate for at least one hour.
Cook in 375 degree oven for about 10 minutes, rotate and cook an additional 10 - 15 minutes.
Serve warm.
