BBQ Meat Balls
3 lbs. of ground chuck
12 oz. evaporated milk
2 cups instant oats
2 eggs (beaten lightly)
3/4 cup chopped onions
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 or 3 tsp chili sauce (Kurtz Chili Sauce is good)
2 tsp. salt
Sauce:
1-1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 T. liquid smoke (optional, but gives a great flavor)
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 cups of Ketchup
2 T. chili sauce
Mix this all together for top of meat balls. Mix the ground chuck with all the 8 ingredient above make into walnut size balls. Put in pan and cover with the BBQ Sauce. Bake 1 hour at 325 with sauce on top or when done in center of meat balls.
This makes many meat balls! You can put the meatballs on a cook sheet and freeze them. After frozen, seal them and store them for another day!
