Spicy Sausage Dip

The girls were coming over for cards one night and I needed an easy dish that I hadn't already served. We girls experiment on each other quite often; it's kind of fun. What are friends for, but to tell you if you've hit a good one or not? I took the basic idea for cheese dip but added a little kick with the hot sausage. It was a thumbs up and easy, too.

Spicy Sausage Dip

1 lb. hot Italian sausage, browned
1 can Mexican tomatoes with chilies, drained
1 16 oz. block of Velveeta cheese, cut in 1/2 inch cubes

Microwave directions -
Put all ingredients, in microwavable bowl and heat on high 3-1/2 minutes, stirring after a couple of minutes, until cheese is completely melted and well blended.

Crock pot Directions -
Combine all ingredient in crock pot and turn on high for 30 minutes. Stir to blend and turn to low for another 30 minutes. Turn crock pot off. Reheat on low as needed, stirring often.

Makes 3 cups.
